Cultivating Christlikeness

Christianity without Christ-likeness is a sham. Taking on the character of Christ is the believer’s highest priority. God shines through His Character, and without it, He’s veiled. Without this character development, we lose our saltiness – our relevance. Why this is not a priority in today’s church is mind boggling, but the absence of God’s manifest nature in us has lead to our inability to win the world to Christ. It seems like we are loosing the war on the souls of the youth and children, homes and marriages and also on sexual purity. The Statistics are overwhelming and no amount of conferences, crusades, broadcasts, skits, programs, schemes or church events can have the least effect on people if, the character of Christ among us Christians is saltless. When salt loses its saltiness, what else can you do? Absolutely nothing!!!
